Who we are

Reel · 35mm

the team your brand hires twice.

We believe the best work comes from the right people on the job. Whether it's a commercial for your flagship product, a month of social content, or photography for the whole brand — we bring the team that fits and stay accountable for the results. Whatever it is, you're covered.

who we are.

Current started as a group of friends who kept seeing the same gap: real businesses with nothing reliable behind their content. Great brands were posting like an afterthought — or paying retainers for work that never moved a number. So we built the thing we couldn't find.

We operate as a compact senior team, pulling in specialists per project. Story still sits at the core of everything we make — but every piece has a job to do: earn attention, hold it, and turn it into growth you can measure.

Today we partner with established local brands to run their content end to end — commercial video and photography, plus the social engine behind them: strategy, production, posting, and paid. Organic builds the audience. Paid multiplies it. We're accountable for both.

We're also close collaborators with Gaussian Sound Co., giving us the ability to create custom sound design, mixing, and original scores for any work.

Everything we do

Section · 02

the future of film production.

Attention lives in the feed now. The brands winning aren't the ones with the biggest ad buy — they're the ones publishing consistently, in their own voice, with paid spend multiplying what already works.

Where things are headed: brands operating like media companies — a steady engine of video and photo made for their channels, shaped by what the numbers say, and amplified where it counts. Faster, more personal, more efficient — and it compounds.

Timeline · How we got here

  1. 1960s

Film production required massive budgets, large crews, and specialized equipment. Only studios and major companies could realistically produce video content.

  2. 1990s

Camcorders and early digital tools made filming more approachable. Crews got smaller, costs dropped, and everyday people could finally experiment with video.

  3. 2000s

Digital cameras replaced film, editing moved to computers, and production became faster and cheaper. Independent creators could produce solid work without studio-level resources.

  4. 2010s

DSLRs, affordable cinema cameras, and social platforms (YouTube, Vimeo) opened the doors wide. A small team or a single creator could produce content that competed with traditional productions.

  5. 2020s

Technology advanced so quickly that compact teams could execute projects that once required huge sets. High-quality cameras, lighting, and stabilization gear became accessible, enabling creators to produce commercial-level work with minimal overhead.
